A KIDDERMINSTER man has been found seriously injured in his living room after he walked home from the pub alone.

The man, who is in his 30s, had been drinking with friends at The Watermill pub in the town centre on Tuesday night.

He left at 12.30am to walk back on his own to his home in Dunclent Crescent.

His friends, who had been drinking with him, went back to his house at 2.40am and found him in his living room, with serious injuries to his head and back.

"He has not yet been able to tell us how he came by the injuries," said Det Sgt Dave Norwood, of Kidderminster police.

"We are making enquiries to establish when the injuries were sustained between leaving the public house and being discovered at his home.

"We are appealing to anyone who can give us information which will help us establish what happened to him," he said.

Anyone who can help telephone Kidderminster police on 01562 820888.
