HUNGRY youngsters at a Bromsgrove school tucked into tasty treats as part of a healthy eating workshop.
Pupils at Catshill First School made scrumptious sandwiches in an afternoon-long session on healthy food, sponsored by Warbutons bread.
The Gibb Lane children not only learnt how to make a healthy sandwich but also about being hygienic, donning hats and aprons before food preparation. All of the 60 youngsters took home a delicious sandwich and a loaf of bread for their mum and dad.
Headteacher, Melanie Henderson, said: "The workshops were organised by the staff to enhance their studies in design and technology and science.
"They were very successful and all the children really enjoyed themselves."
