I WISH to congratulate The Phillpott File (Evening News, September 23) for writing such a good, unbiased article on faiths. It was not religiously racist, or insulting.

However, just like the Christian Church, which has many denominations, the Muslim faith has many factions, which differ in their interpretations of the Koran.

Many fine educated men including Thomas Becket, Archbishop of Canterbury, were tried under the jurisdiction of secular Law and John Wycliffe was tried under ecclesiastical law.

They gave their lives to God and it is worth noting that the law then was very cruel.
