KNOWING how many members of the Worcestershire Hunt and their supporters live in and around Crowle, I am concerned to read that Miss Sowden (You Say, October 2) could find no one who could have allayed her fears about the safety of herself and dogs.
For many years, we have hunted in this area. This is at the express invitation of farmers and landowners.
If she would care to contact me directly I would be only too pleased to arrange a visit for her and her dogs to our kennels to meet hounds and see for herself that neither she, her pets nor anyone else is in any danger from them.
Many of her neighbours - including myself - were out on that day and not aware of the situation in which she found herself.
