AN EXERCISE that began as an advertising and sponsorship deal for a Worcester company has developed into a long-term business partnership.

Since becoming a member of the Birmingham Symphony Hall's Corporate Membership Scheme, Liaison VAT Consultancy has staged a VAT seminar in conjunction with Symphony Hall for members of the Arts and Business West Midlands Development Forum.

Liaison has also used the venue to hold internal team meetings and other client seminars as well as hosting other meetings.

Jon Kelly, managing director, said the association with Symphony Hall started with the company becoming a Coda Club member.

"We wished to be associated with an organisation that is highly respected in its specialist field, as we are at Liaison," he said.

"It also helps that Symphony Hall is well located in Birmingham and a great venue. We are delighted to be working with Symphony Hall."
