AN elderly widower has died after being in collision with a car as he crossed the road.
The 83-year-old was rushed to Worcestershire Royal Hospital with head and leg injuries after the incident, last Thursday, but died the following day.
The pensioner had parked his car at the roadside near the junction between Stourbridge Road and Larkhill in the Horsefair, Kidderminster.
As the man, from Wolverley, was crossing, opposite Argos Plastics, he was in collision with a blue Mazda 626.
The male driver, from Kidderminster, was not injured.
Witnesses to the incident, at 8.50pm, are asked to contact West Mercia police on 01562 820888.
