CHILDREN have been logging on to new technology at a Worcestershire school.
A new computer suite has been opened at Hallow CE Primary School after a mammoth fund-raising task by the Friends of the School.
The association raised thousands of pounds over two years and put in the labour to build the new suite.
"They've done an awful lot of the work themselves," said headteacher Sue Foster-Agg.
"They decorated the room themselves and loaded the software. We've had expert help but also used expertise in our locality.
"It's fantastic and will be of benefit to all the children.
"We've got all the software we need to teach the National Curriculum throughout the school."
The computer suite was officially opened by the chairman of the Friends Association, Carol Genever, on Friday, September 13.
"The children are very excited about the new suite," said Mrs Foster-Agg.
"They've all been in the room now. They couldn't wait to get their hands on the computers."
