FOUR matches were played on Tuesday when the Cotswold Floorball League resumed at Chipping Campden Sports Centre.

Blockley and the host school's A team drew 1-1 with Daniel Mitchell scored against his old school, with a reply from Theo Barber.

Mickleton seemed to have Longborough dead and buried after two goals from Ashley Spencer and one from Sam Ellis but a brace from Sam Macpherson and one from Grant Denyer sealed a superb comeback in a 3-3 draw.

Mickleton then went on to beat Blockley 3-1 with Josh Baker (2) and Ellis the marksmen. Nicholas Hudson replied for the Blues.

In the afternoon's final match, Longborough scored through Macpherson to earn a 1-1 draw against CCSA after Mitchell had scored early on.

Next week will be the start of the B Division matches in a league that may well have to expand into four divisions with the welcome arrival of Temple Guiting and Bredon Hill II.
