STRATFORD-on-Avon District Council's sports development team are working in partnership with Greater Warwickshire Sport to host two joint club and coach development evenings this month for sports clubs within the Stratford District.
These evenings at Stratford and Southam are designed to introduce local clubs to Active Sports, the Greater Warwickshire club and coach development officers, and also to promote the opportunities that are available locally.
The District Council and the Greater Warwickshire Partnership recognises the time and commitment clubs put into developing sport in the community and are looking to support club development.
The evenings will include information on Active Sports, club and coach development, funding opportunities, information on the new tax relief and charity status for clubs, and the chance to answer questions on other aspects of your club's development.
The club and coach development evenings take place next Monday, September 16, from 7pm until 9pm at Stratford Sports Club, Swan's Nest Lane and on Monday, Septe-mber 30 between 7 and 9pm at Southam College.
