SNOOKER fans in Kidder-minster could soon be cue-ing up to join a new-look town centre club.
Plans have been submitted to turn a storage depot in Green Street into a first-floor snooker and American pool club.
Applicant Sean Carmody wants to open a new venue to replace his existing club, Snooks, in George Street.
He has also put in a separate application to convert the current club into nine apartments. Both schemes should go before planners next month.
Mr Carmody said: "I could have spent a lot of money doing up my existing club but I wanted somewhere with more space. If I get permission building work will start straight away."
