AFTER reading the article about the letting of Astwood Cemetery toilets, I would like to ask who participated in the "study"?
Certainly not anyone who regularly visits the cemetery, as my and son and I regularly do so.
The toilets were never open, even before the "for let" went up, and those inside the Garden of Rest are always locked as well. It's a long walk to and from York Place only to find that the public conveniences are closed.
