JUST 48 hours after wrapping up the lea-gue title, Evesham's players were celebrating again . . . on an even bigger stage.

New Road was Mon-day's venue for a Pro-Am Six-a-Side tournament that saw county player Gareth Batty drawn out to join Jon Gregory, Paul Jones, Tim Dav-ies, Zig Davies, Barry Clements and Daryl Mitchell.

Jones made the side's intentions perfectly clear when he cleared the Diglis End scorebox with a huge 6 before Clements smashed five 6s off ne over as Malvern were comfortably seen off.

Gregory took 28 off a David Leatherdale over as Evesham scored 118 from their five overs and two more wins catapulted them into the final against Smethwick.

Mitchell set the trend by taking 28 off Stuart Lampitt's opening over as Evesham set a target that proved 30 too many for their opponents.
