Any member wishing to submit a resolution for next year's conference must research their subject. The deadline for entries is September 20.
Members were urged to write to the town clerk asking him to endeavour to find a way to keep the Memorial Park community centre open.
The group will not have a craft table on November 16 at the community centre, but members can apply individually.
The next meeting will be on Wednesday, September 18, when Jenny Thwaites will talk about Artistry in Wool. The talk will be held in the Memorial Park community centre, starting at 10am.
Future events include a gardening evening with Paul Cook at Abberley village hall on September 27, the half-yearly council meeting on October 22, and a visit to Worcestershire by Jenny Bond, royal correspondent, in November.
