POLICE have appealed for information on an incident in which a 15-year-old girl suffered a serious sexual assault in Stourport.
The girl was in the town centre when a man took hold of her wrist and forced her to walk to an area near the toilets by the civic centre where she was attacked between 11pm and 11.30pm on Saturday, the night of Stourport Carnival.
A man was arrested in connection with the incident on Tuesday and was yesterday helping police with their inquiries.
