JUDO: Two Kidderminster's Samurai Judo Club girls have been picked for Great Britain to compete at an international in Germany this month.
Amy Darch and Ellen Ingram, both 14 and British Cadet Squad members, will be off to Bremmen for the event.
They started judo at almost the same time four years ago and train three times a week at the Samurai club.
Meanwhile, Samurai will host a charity judo competition on September 21 with all proceeds going to Kemp Hospice.
It will be a junior lower grades competition for clubs across the Midlands and organisers are hoping for a full house.
