THE best efforts of Tony Kidd and Andy Gilbert were not good enough to bring Spennells B victory in the final of the Stainweld Cricket League Sunday Plate.
Kidd took 6-28 and Gilbert hit 75 but their side went down by 60 runs to Victoria CH.

Another Wyre Forest team, Worths A, were also beaten finalists when they were pipped in an exciting Sunday Cup final.
DGSA lifted the trophy when they scored the winning run off the last ball of the match.
