MARK Edward clubbed 78 runs as Chaddesley Corbett claimed a losing draw from their final day Worcestershire Saturday League Division One trip to Netherton.
Pursuing the home side's challenging 256-9, Chaddesley finished 27 runs short but with two wickets in hand.
Edward was joined in the runs by S Robinson (41) as the villagers finished the season in 10th position, 17 points away from Astwood Bank in the relegation zone.
Netherton 256-9, Chaddesley 229-8.
The seconds' game was abandoned as Andy Martin took 4-41 in Netherton's 205-7 and Chaddesley finished third in the table.
