AS visitors to the Upton-upon-Severn Water Festival held over the Bank Holiday weekend, we would like to express our appreciation and thanks to everyone who played their part in putting on what we feel was a most spectacular event.
Lots of variety, something for everyone across the four-day event, and without doubt a firEworks display and laser/music show to be proud of.
Even though many thousands of people attended, especially for the late night fireworks display - some in particularly high spirits from visiting a pub or two - we never felt threatened or concerned, and witnessed none of the troubles often associated with very large crowds and alcohol.
Events like this don't just happen though. They must involve a great deal of effort. Upton can be proud to have such dedicated people .
