PERHAPS some people do not realise how dangerous Saddam Hussain is to the West.
He clearly has huge stockpiles of chemical and biological weapons and is developing a nuclear capability.
He is developing missiles of longer and longer ranges and eventually, those missiles will be in range of Europe, Britain and America.
When the UN weapons inspectors were last in Iraq they reported they were frustrated by Saddam's people at every turn. They found much that was frightening.
For instance, they found thousands of litres of concentrated anthrax and botulinum, six ounces of which would kill everybody in Europe and North America.
The UN Inspectors knew that Saddam was trying to hide these huge stockpiles of chemical and biological weapons and a developing nuclear capability, and the means to deliver them.
Once Saddam goes nuclear, the threat to us all will become vastly greater. He must be stopped in his tracks now.
