AN OPEN match at the Jubi-lee Fishery was made difficult by the bright sunshine and the fish weren't feeding as anticipated.

However, Terry Pitcher weighed in with 11.14.8 to take first place ahead of Tim Hunt (11.10.8) and Barry Stayte (7.14.0).

The next Open match will take place next month. Watch out for details!

A non-points Scramble match last Sunday saw Paul Law (8.1.50) take the honours ahead of Allan Chandler (7.14.0) and John Davis (6.10.0.

There's a Stillwater Series match on the WDAA Canal, Blackpole (pegs 1-30) on Sunday. Meet for the draw at 7am, normal parking canal side.

MEMBERS fished yet another new venue last Sunday when they travelled to Wasperton to fish the Leamington Assoc-iation controlled Collage Pool.

The fishing was hard under a clear blue sky and the weights were low. Roy Thomson top netted with 2.0.0, fishing red maggot and catching mostly Roach.

In second place was chairman Hugh Blundstone, with 1.8.0 again mainly small fish and in third place was Ray Woods (1.5.0).

Members are reminded that this Sunday's match is at Smith's Pool, draw at 8am. Members unsure of directions are asked meet at the Old Post Office at 7.30 am.

THE Tom Pitcher Memorial match was fished on Common Road Waters.

Bright sunshine and clear low water affected the weights but H Norledge claimed top spot fishing pole on maggot for a mainly all-perch net.

Result: 1 H Norledge 9.10.0; 2 T Bench 4.12.0; 3 P Dutton 1.5.4.

The winning lucky programme number at last the Wychavon Festival was 396.
