The jubilee "street party" at the Day Centre saw a long table decorated with flags, flowers and streamers, and the food - spam and fish-paste sandwiches, jam tarts, blancmanges and jellies - brought back memories of 50 years ago. Each member was presented with a card and pen.
The competition for the best red and blue hats was won by Mrs D Bishop, Mrs D Vaughan and J Allum, after being judged by Alison Cross, WRVS area supervisor.
Entertainment was provided by Doreen Oliver and Mike Jones.
In July, Betty Cooke and Sheila Shuck gave parties to celebrate their birthdays and a musical quiz was held.
Members visited the Shaw Hedge club, Bewdley, where The Golden Singers from Redditch entertained.
The singers will visit the Day Centre later in the year.
