LADY Luck is the missing ingredient from Kidderminster Harriers' season so far, according to boss Ian Britton.

Harriers have lost just once in Division Three but are the early draw specialists with four stalemates, including Saturday's 1-1 tie with Darlington.

Britton wants his team to shake off the tag by surging to their second win of the season at home to Boston United.

Saturday's test against the Conference champions will kick off an hour earlier at 2pm due to England's match with Portugal.

Britton admitted: "It's down to us to beat Boston after last weekend's disappointment. It wasn't that we didn't play well but that we failed to get the extra two points.

"We were pretty solid but we have to try and go out to win these games. I'm sure that will come.

"We are creating chances but it's going to be difficult against Boston who have done well.

"It's all new to them at the moment and the adrenaline will be going.

"We just need that bit of luck now as we could be winning these games instead of drawing them."

Harriers' squad will be boosted by the return of target-man Drewe Broughton after suspension.

However, centre-back Abdou Sall and midfielder Dean Bennett remain doubts with ankle injuries.

Britton explained: "They've both had x-rays and everything has been given the all-clear.

"It's just a case of seeing what they are like on Friday and Saturday now."

Andy Ducros has a good chance of keeping his place after a fine comeback against Darlington.

Britton said: "Andy did very well and could have had two or three goals. He looked bright and sharp but I still say he can get better."

Boston started off with minus-four points after being penalised for registering player contracts with false details.

They remain bottom despite a victory and three draws, while still searching for their first away league win.

Britton is confident Wednesday's exciting Worthington Cup first round tie at former European Cup winners Nottingham Forest (7.45pm) will not get in the way.

He added: "We haven't even spoken about it yet. The most important thing is Saturday's game."
