CONFIDENT Bewdley Town began where they left off the previous week, playing good football to comfortably beat Malvern Rangers 6-1 in West Midlands League Division One South.
They forced an own goal to open the scoring after the ball bounced around the box from a failed clearance.
It took Bewdley five more minutes before John Maffei coolly slotted home a second.
The best move of the game saw Gary Middleton start and finish a move that involved Neil Turford and Keith Elliott.
Man-of-the-match Elliott scored the fourth after winning the ball in midfield and shooting from 40 yards with the Malvern keeper rooted to the spot.
Non-stop Turford grabbed the fifth before Maffei added his second of the match to make it two double strikes in a row.
Bewdley's next match will be on Saturday, September 14, at Ludlow Town Reserves.
The club has started up a new award but one which players will not want to win.
Striker Steve Mares was given their first "muppet of the day" vote.
