A TIPPER lorry was stolen from a Hartlebury depot by being driven away across a field.
Police could not say how access was gained into Worcestershire County Council's Stanford Depot to steal the unladen 7.5 tonne Leyland Daf truck, but tyre tracks were discovered leading into a neighbouring field.
The theft of the £5,000 vehicle, registration L942 VWP, was between 5.30pm on Monday and 4.30am the following morning.
