AS a regular user of the Habberley Road to Bewdley I noted the mileage on my car's trip meter from a fixed point before and after the "rat-run" via the Queensway and also the main road.
I was surprised to find the distance on each run was identical. I have never gone through the estate since.
How many drivers realise this? Also, as the junction only detours the one way via the island, why put up with the horrendous turn right to Bewdley from the Queensway?
