I AM writing to express my views on the proposed decision for a lap dancing club in Kidderminster.

In my opinion it is a brilliant, over-due idea, which will benefit the town by bringing trade and business to Kidderminster and may finally boost the social life of a pretty down-trodden town.

Obviously it will not appeal to everyone, but nothing in this town does.

Bingo is mainly dominated by middle-aged people, but that does not mean it should be scrapped because it does not appeal to everyone's taste.

In my opinion the lap-dancing club should be given the "go-ahead" and then monitored on how it "performs".

Kidderminster needs to change and ideas need to be experimented with.

This club may not, in the end, be a success, but after all the council demolished nearly all our car parks and that was not exactly a great idea either, was it?
