A CRACKDOWN on joyriders has continued in Stourport with dozens of drivers reported and warned.
Eighteen people could face prosecution after being reported for offences including dangerous driving and driving without due care and attention in the grass overflow car park in the town's riverside meadows.
And a further 30 drivers have been served with public nuisance notices warning them about gathering in groups.
The action follows car park patrols by Stourport Police, backed up by the Road Policing Support Team, on weekends and weekday evenings in August.
Earlier in the summer Wyre Forest District Council, which owns the car park, pledged to privately prosecute several drivers for damaging its property.
