ROWING: Bewdley Rowing Club added to their season's tally with seven wins at Warwick Regatta.

John and Chris Hinton won the men's elite pairs before being joined by Mick Edmunds and John Page to take the men's vet A fours trophy.

The Hintons then raced with their wives Emma and Mel, coxed by Rachel Roberts, to claim a third victory of the day.

Richard Jackson added two more successes for the club in junior 15 and novice single sculls.

And the seventh win for Bewdley arrived through the mixed senior 3 four of Matt Collier, Mark Swansborough, Kate Ferguson and Leila Downey, coxed by Miles.

Dave Merchant and Chris Beech triumphed in the senior 1 double sculls at Gloucester.

Ross veteran and junior regatta brought more victories with Lewis Beech winning junior 14 sculls and the Hinton family taking the mixed veteran A fours.

Vet B pairs again went to J and C Hinton, while the winning men's vet C four included Edmunds, Haydn Hughes and Mike Parker, coxed by Anne O'Connell.

Edmunds and Hughes claimed the vet C pairs and the women's vet C four of Jo Atkinson, Liz Killick, Rosie Davies and Charlie Hancock won their event.

Atkinson did not stop there as she also tasted success in the vet C single sculls.

Ross main regatta the following day brought wins for the men's senior pairs of Nick Jackson with Toby Little and Ross Haynes with Rob Parker.

Other golden displays came from the women's senior 1 four of Sue Lewis, M and E Hinton and Jane Holland, coxed by Ruth Brown, and novice double sculls pair Jackson and L Beech.
