MOTORSPORT: Bewdley driver Ben Colley finished 53rd overall in Worcestershire Motor Club's popular Woodpecker Stages rally in Ludlow at the weekend.
Colley clocked one hour three minutes 21 seconds in his Peugeot 205GTI for fifth in class but fellow West Midlands Motorsport man Matt Barker retired with a driveshaft problem.
Kidderminster's Simon and Mike Hawthorn bagged 44 Heart of England Rally Championship points after finishing seventh and 78th overall in 1-05-41.
But the Hawthorns dropped from third to fifth in the series in their Ford Escort mk II though they remain second in their class.
