GLAM-rock and rockabilly bands will do their bit for charity at a fun night later this month.
District groups Ballroom Glitz and the Bravo Boys will belt out numbers to raise funds for the Acorns Three Counties Appeal.
The appeal aims to raise £4 million to build a hospice for life-limited children in Worcestershire, Herefordshire and Gloucestershire by 2004.
The event is being organised by the Kidderminster branch of Marks and Spencer, which last year gleaned £10,000 for the appeal after its £5,000 fund-raising effort was matched by head office.
Organiser Lyn Hardiman said: "We hope to raise £3,000 this year. It should be a fun night and it's great we've got two local bands performing."
The event will be held at Gilt Edge Leisure Club, Stourport Road, Kidderminster, on Friday, September 27.
Entrance is by ticket only, priced £6.50.
For tickets call Lyn on 01562 823824 or Kathy, of Ballroom Glitz, on 01562 746925.
