BRETFORTON Ladies travelled to Stroud on Saturday for a pre-season friendly fixture.
The visitors were the first to find the net with a well worked goal which saw Gilly Wright set up Sarah Bragg to strike.
The second goal, struck from the edge of the D by Sophie Corbett, was also the result of some well worked team play, as was the third which left Corbett with a shot at an open goal.
By half-time, the home side had made the breakthrough to make it 3-1.
The second half saw Bretfor-ton win a series of penalty corners, which they failed to convert before a change in tactics saw them eventually convert courtesy of Jane Wheeler.
Stroud then narrowed the difference to just two and it wasn't long before they made a quick break again to make it 4-3.
The home side snatched a draw in the last few minutes following another break that ended with the ball going into the net off a post.
