Alcester 0 Pershore 25
Pershore took the spoils in a trial game of four quarters.
The higher league visitors dominated, although two of their five tries came from Alcester mistakes.
The hosts held their own up front, but had fewer ideas in attack and had to settle for occasional forays.
Player of the Year Martin Sergeant came closest but was stopped short.
And the referee called a early halt to proceedings as tempers boiled over.
Skipper Pat Lamb was bullish after the match, which saw the return of Brett Allard to action after a two year lay-off.
Alcester kick off their pre-season campaign with a friendly at neighbours Woodrush on Saturday (ko 3pm) before starting league action against Old Wheatleyans at King's Coughton the following Saturday.
