ONE Saturday evening I was sitting in a garden in Fladbury with a glass of wine, enjoying the peace and quiet of village life.
A few weeks ago in my garden, a friend shouted over the traffic noise "This will be a lovely place to relax once the bypass is finished."
I understand that a leaflet is being delivered door-to-door in Fladbury urging villagers to fight for the continuation of traffic through Wyre.
Perhaps the respondents should remember our thirty fight for the tranquillity that they take for granted.
