Thank the Lord for Sid Pritchard (M.D. of Wychavon) - he and his "technical" experts are going to save our parish and town councillors from being sued by aggrieved developers, what a nice kind man he is!
I would therefore strongly recommend him to spend a few days in Harvington (especially Crest Hill) enjoying the varied delights of living cheek by jowl to the fully industrial quarry that his district and county 'experts' have foisted upon us. The extraction of sand and gravel amounts to a quarter of Worcestershire's aggregate annual supply.
The aggregate is being removed by RMC and taken to its plant at Salford.
It is just digging it out and speedily trucking it out to Salford straight through the centre of the village with the complete compliance of district and council's technical and legal experts.
John A Jenkinson,
The Old Rectory
Harvington.
