STUDLEY manager Mark Chambers is looking forward to Saturday's cup match as a break from the league, after losing the last three games, writes Lynda Morrison.

Suspensions and holiday commitments have meant he has been unable to field the same side and after losing 2-1 away to Chasetown on Saturday, the Bees went on to lose at home 2-0 against Oldbury Utd on Monday despite Matt Coppin hitting the bar and post and Steve Hands missing a penalty.

The FA Cup preliminary round match is away against Atherstone, currently top of the Dr Martens Western Division, a league above them.

Chambers hopes injured Simon Redhead (knee) and Rob Powell (dead leg) will be available after treatment, together with Richard Kavanagh on the left of midfield following his holiday.

Birmingham City old boy Steve Cooper will not be available as he signed too late for Saturday's game.

"The cup game will be a nice break from the league," commented Chambers. "We will be going there as underdogs so it gives us the opportunity to relax and play our football."

He added: "This may well be a turning-point in our fortunes."
