WORKS by Bach and Ravel will be performed at the Forum Theatre, Malvern, when celebrated pianist Ang-ela Hewitt performs later this month.
The programme will open with Bach's lively Italian Concerto, which was insp-ired by the concertos of Vivaldi, followed by the last of his formidable English suites (No 6 in D minor). The second half features Ravel's Valses Nobles et Sentimentales, a light-hearted tribute to the dance, and Tombeau de Cou-perin, a suite of different dances.
