WHERE do government-trained killers go when they have done society wrong, a normal prison?
Well, it's called the Castle. Those servicemen found guilty at a court martial are sent there for their crimes.
The problem is a sadistic prison warden (James Gandolfini fresh from the Sopranos) is intent on murdering the prison troublemakers who go against the system.
But it's all change in the ranks as a distinguished US Army general, Eugene Irwin (Robert Redford) is sent down for disobeying a direct command.
After spotting the brutality and murders, Irwin is intent on taking over the facility, relieving the warden of his duties.
But first he has to win over the inmates' trust and unite the men before he can even think of taking command.
Think Alcatraz meets Shawshank Redemption but with Redford as the inevitable hero. There must be something about prison films, everyone you watch seems to be a classic.
