THE £2 million deficit of Wyre Forest District Council is indeed a very serious matter, but Health Concern's preference for selling off the Civic Centre and off-loading Bewdley Guildhall are not sensible policies.
Nor is getting rid of Wyre Forest Glades Leisure Centre, Bewdley Museum, and our play areas.
These are fundamental services for our community. Government will not bail them out.
What does Health Concern really want Wyre Forest District Council to provide? Is it basic services or a new Civic Centre, paid for by us, for them to feel good in?
