A VALE of Evesham wom-an, Natasha Boon is enjoying a flourishing career in the theatre.

A graduate of the Iiitalia Conti Acadaemy of Theatre Arts in London, 26-year-old Natasha has worked continuously since graduating in 1995.

"The last couple of years have been particularly busy for her," said her father, Gordon Boon, of Badsey.

"Still based in Germany, she has played one of the main roles in 'Cabaret' at the Capitol Theatre in Dusseldorf and at the Thalia Theatre in Hamburg in 2000, which led to her recording the official German soundtrack of the musical."

In October 2000 Natasha was offered the part of June in 'Chicago," appearing in the German premiere of the London production. During the time she spent playing June, Natasha toured in both Germany and Switzerland.

Natasha has successfully moved from one role to another, interspersing her stage appearances with sessions in the recording studios and live gigs.

After finishing in "Chicago," she spent five weeks in Bavaria making her first film "Beyond the Limits," directed by Olaf Itterbach, co-producer of "Brave New Work," with special effects by the director of "Alien Autopsy."

The film is due for general release in September/October.

Mr Boon said: "In March of this year she joined the cast of 'Falco Meets Amadeus' at the Theatro Oberhausen, near Dusseldorf.

This musical showcases the life and work of Hans Holzel alias Falco and has been a huge success since opening.

Falco was an international star of the 1980s with 'Rock Me Amadeus" and 'Jeanny' his hits in Britain, Germany and the USA.

Sadly his talent was lost to the world some four years ago in a car crash."

The show has just finished a successful summer season as the open air Seebuhne, a floating theatre with 2004 seats, in Klagenfurt, Austria, where Natasha, as understudy to the lead female role of Komissar, has had rave reviews.

The show now returns to Germany on tour.
