THIS film, featuring Kevin Costner, Kurt Russell and Courtney Cox, is one of the most pointless, gratuitously violent pieces of trash to disgrace the silver screen for a long time.

Michael Zane (Russell) and Murphy (Costner) are two Elvis impersonators who, with their gang of misfits, decide to visit Las Vegas and steal $3.2 million cash from a casino.

The main plot of the film over within 25 minutes, the rest of the action revolves around Zane's conversion to being a good guy just because Courtney Cox flashes a bit of leg in his general direction.

Costner is such an evil cretin in this film, I fear it may have completely tainted this reviewer's admiration for the lovely Dances with Wolves star.

Everybody who crosses his path has to watch out for a knife, gun, cosh, grenade or machete in their backs. Plus, half the other characters are scared of him because he doesn't even resemble Elvis, more like the lead singer of the Flying Pickets.

The best acting award goes to David Kaye who plays Ms Cox's son. He's about 11 years old and gives a better performance than anyone else involved in this shambolic effort.
