IN reply to Nick Casterton (Letters, August 14), I am glad that you liked the idea to celebrate one of our nation's heroes, King Penda of Mercia in naming a road in his honour.
It would be nice if the council could reply with their opinions on the matter. Local Pagans meet on the first Wednesday of the month upstairs at the Sportsman's Arms from 7.30pm.
Nick would be more than welcome to join us for friendly discussion.
