PEOPLE across Wyre Forest have been urged not to miss out on their right to vote.
Wyre Forest District Council staff are in the middle of a two-week spell delivering electoral registration forms.
Anyone not on the new register, which comes into force on December 1, will not be able to vote in any elections held next year, including at district and parish level.
Householders are required to correct their details if necessary and return the form in the pre-paid envelope.
The council has reported a problem with parents leaving 16 and 17-year-olds off the form and has stressed anyone who will be 18 by November 30 next year should be included.
For the first time people will be able to opt out of the main register and their details will only appear on a list used for electoral purposes, credit reference purposes and crime prevention.
More information is available by calling the elections office on 01562 732739.
