DROITWICH county council workers are taking part in a major survey in a bid to assess the feelgood factor of staff across the authority.
The huge study into communications, being carried out by Worcestershire, has seen staff, such as teachers, home care assistants and librarians, given a questionnaire.
Included in July's wage slips, the forms include questions such as "have you ever avoided telling someone you work for the council?" and "do you feel you receive enough information from the council to do your job effectively?".
The council's chief executive, Rob Sykes, said: "We want to know if people have the feelgood factor about working in the council because, knowing what goes on, makes people feel good."
Wychavon's head of policy and review, Diane Tilley, said: "Good internal communications with our staff is vital.
"MORI says that the more informed people are, the more satisfied they are.
"It is important that we have a satisfied workforce because it helps us retain staff and attract quality employees which, in turn, leads to better public services."
