A hut used by more than 250 youngsters a week, is to get a makeover, thanks to the town's Helping Hands initiative.
The Girl Guide Headquarters, in Acre Lane, Droitwich, will receive a welcome lick of paint thanks to £500-worth of Wilkinson vouchers.
The money was the last donation from the joint initiative between the town's Wilkinson store and The Advertiser, where £2,000 was donated to local charities and organisations.
We featured the hut in an article last month when an appeal was launched to raise more than £100,000 to either refurbish or rebuild the meeting place.
Helpers will now be taking a trip to the Salters shopping centre store to buy decorating equipment to give it a facelift before the groups return after the holiday.
Division commissioner, Rose O'Grady said: "This money is a great boost.
"We will also be able to buy some kitchen equipment and allow us to buy the things which we have been looking at for a while but haven't been able to afford."
