DEAR EDITOR - There is an urgent message that needs to be drummed home to people living in the Wychavon district.
Recently Wychavon council sent out a questionnaire to the whole of the district...... they received 150 replies!
Unless the populous actively lobby the council we will get - in Droitwich - Waitrose on the Saltway and no supermarket by DFS.
Nearly 2,000 Droitwich residents voted against the council plans for Waitrose.-
Why did these people not return their questionnaires, and use the comment section to decry the current disastrous proposals.
Unless people write before August, giving their opinions on the proposed plan - available at the council shop, things will go through on the nod.
If you don't want to keep shopping at Bromsgrove and Worcester - tell Wychavon planning that we don't want Waitrose, we want a superstore by DFS.
