WORCESTER serves up six races tomorrow night as the Pitchcroft course continues its evening season.

The highlight of the meeting looks to be the 8.45pm handicap chase with a number of favourites such as Supreme Soviet set to run in the £4,000 race.

Racing gets under way at 6.45pm with the final race at 9.15pm and officials believe it is the perfect time to enjoy some top class entertainment on and off the track.

"We have a jazz band booked who were very popular last time and it really is the perfect opportunity to come to the restaurant, have a meal, a dance and enjoy some top-class racing," said Pitchcroft operations manager Katherine Self.

"The evening meetings always bring a special atmosphere to Worcester and it is an experience because there is a real buzz."

Pat Eddery, meanwhile, gave up his rides at Bath and Windsor yesterday after suffering a stomach upset. But the 11-times champion jockey was planning to be back at Newmarket today.
