KIDDERMINSTER Harriers players report back for training on Monday with new recruit Sean Parrish looking forward to a promotion-chasing campaign.

The 30-year-old has moved to Aggborough on a two-year contract from Chesterfield and can't wait for Harriers' season to get under way with a home Nationwide League Division Three clash against Lincoln City on Saturday, August 10.

The experienced midfielder said: "I've enjoyed three promotions during my career and hopefully I can enjoy another one or even two with Kidderminster. I like to think of myself as an attacking midfielder who likes to get forward and score the odd goal or two. I managed double figures in the two seasons at Chesterfield and North-ampton so hopefully I can do the same here."

Before signing, Parrish spoke to former Harriers captain Ian Clarkson, who was a team-mate during their time with Northampton.

"He gave me some very positive feedback and I can't wait to get started," said the Aggborough newcomer, who is expected to link up with Danny Williams in Harriers midfield department.

Kidderminster's boss Ian Britton is likely to run the rule over a number of trialists when his squad report back for training along with promising youth team players Inderpaul Khela and Scott Lower.

Britton, in at the deep end at Agg-borough after taking over from Jan Molby, will tell the players that all positions in the team are up for grabs. He said: "Everyone starts with a clean slate as far as I'm concerned. Who-ever does well in pre-season will play."
