CAPTAIN'S Day at Perdiswell Park Golf Club proved a big success with Ron Milbourne's chosen charity The County Air Ambulance benefiting to the tune of £230.
Cyril Misters won the stableford with an excellent 45 points to take the Captain's Trophy and capped a fine display by taking the nearest the pin prize.
Lady captain Mifanwy Weaving scored 39 points to collect the Ladies Trophy while teenager Kevin Barnes took the Junior Trophy with 39 points.
The Guest Trophy went to Droitwich Golf Club member Brian Allart, carding 40points, who came second overall.
The June medal was won by Neil Doherty with a gross 81 a and nett 62, pipping John Byrne whose lowest gross of 74 was just one shot off the pace.
Andy Barnes 86-22-64 held third place.
