A MOST successful AM AM was held at The Vale Golf Club by the ladies section.
Despite torrential rain, 26 teams from 12 clubs throughout the area competed and £1000 raised for the captain's charity, The Macmillan Nurses.
The winning team with 79 points were Sonya Byrd (Vale), Angela Catlin (Vale), Carol Sansom (Vale), Linda Worth (Vale).
Second with 76 points were Jackie Marks (Vale), Caroline Edwards (Vale), Margaret McCaig (Vale), Rachel Hunt (Worcester Golf and Country Club).
Third with 75 points were Jenny Braithwaite (Vale), Vina Kite (Evesham), Ruth Masters (Evesham), and Pauline Laight (Vale).
