A VILLAGE pub that returns "a respectable profit" is up for sale.
The Swan, at Birlingham, near Pershore, is being offered through national licensed property specialists, Robert Barry & Co.
The owners of the pretty half-timbered and thatched pub, which also has a large garden, are retiring after 17 years.
"At present the pub does not serve food, an obvious area for owners to develop if they wish," said a spokesman.
"There is three-bedroomed accommodation for the owners and the Swan generates a respectable profit. It should, therefore, appeal to the buyer looking for a relaxed life-style, but could also suit the more ambitious owner wishing to develop the business."
The agents are asking for offers of more than £300,000 for the freehold.
